Aimee Witteman, Grassroots Organizing and Outreach Director (awitteman@sustainableagriculturecoalition.org), joined the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition in early 2007. Most recently, she was the Agriculture and Trade Specialist for Oxfam America. Aimee received a Master's degree in Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Policy from Tufts University and is a current W.K. Kellogg Food and Society Policy Fellow: www.foodandsociety.org.

Ferd Hoefner, Policy Director (fhoefner@sustainableagriculturecoalition.org), brings to his advocacy work nearly 25 years of Washington policy experience and has been the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition's senior Washington D.C. representative since 1988. Ferd has worked on nearly every federal agricultural budget and appropriations bill for the last several decades, as well as each of the omnibus farm bills since 1977. He is currently a member of the Coordinating Council for the Farm and Food Policy Project (FFPP).

Julie Hudson, Development Director (jhudson@sustainableagriculturecoalition.org), has conducted fundraising, event planning, and outreach/activist work for The Wilderness Society, Sierra Club, E. F. Schumacher Society, and the Center for Food Safety. Her passion for delicious local foods led her to try her hand at growing and marketing organic vegetables for a few years in Pennsylvania. Julie holds an M.A. in Environmental Policy from the George Washington University.

Martha Noble, Senior Policy Analyst (mnoble@sustainableagriculturecoalition.org), is a lawyer and policy specialist that joined the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition in 1998. Martha also co-chairs the Clean Water Network's Feedlot Work Group and is a vice-chair of the Agricultural Management Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources. She received a law degree from the University of California at Berkeley and before coming to the Coalition was a research professor and staff attorney with National Center for Agricultural Law at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

Zach Baker, Policy Associate (zbaker@sustainableagriculturecoalition.org), joined the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition as an intern in early 2007 and now handles SAC's work on organic agriculture and appropriations as Policy Associate. Before coming to SAC, Zach was heavily involved with organizing and policy advocacy efforts related to childhood obesity. He holds a BA in Community Health and Political Science from Tufts University.
